Diary of the Bougie Broad

Life through the eyes of a young, quirky, intelligent, bougie broad.

Bougie.  Snobby.  Bratty.  Spoiled.  Uppity.  Pretentious.  Stuck up.  Snotty.  Self-centered.  Vain.  Conceited.  Sadiddy.  Bitchy.  Selfish.  Yes I have heard them all.  Do these words truly describe me? Not so much.  But either way, these words and many others, have shaped my thinking, how I see the world, and how I live my life.  My blog entries are not meant to be deep, educational, or life changing.  Rather just thought provoking.  I want to foster conversation (good or bad).  Thank you for gracing me with your presence (or should you be thanking me...hmmmm... just kidding!)

The Beyoncé Experience

I have never been a huge fan of Beyoncé.  But, I have never denied the fact that she can blow and that she is beyond gorgeous.  Now, I do tend to point out her sometimes wrinkly weave and heavy application of make up.  So with that said, I saw The Beyoncé Experience on Thursday night and words can not describe how good of a show she put on!  That was probably the best concert I have seen.  She was on stage for 2 hours and rocked it out the whole time.  I honestly have no complaints.  Even during her outfit changes, the crowd was still entertained by her band and/or dancers.  There was never a dull moment!

Robin Thicke opened for her and he sounded great live.  His kept it simple and was a great opener for Ms. B.

If you haven’t seen her during this tour, scrape up the funds to go because it is definitely worth it.
