Blatant Disrespect

I have purposely delayed my response regarding the men who attempted to emulate my sorority. I will not comment on their perceived sexual orientation/sweetness and I will keep this short and sweet (no pun intended) because this is a serious matter (yes I took it there).
First of all, let me say that I am disgusted by the blatant disrespect. It is a shame when any organization is disrespected. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated was founded out of a need and desire to strengthen society. So please understand my anger when I see some grown a$$ men dressing up (because that is all that they are doing) and disgracing the legacy of the illustrious group of women who founded my organization.
Now let me get some facts straight. There is no way that the national office of Alpha Kappa Alpha chartered and sanctioned a chapter full of men—a sorority is for women, duh. Many articles have stated that they are a chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha—that is false. Could these men really be the Tri Alpha Chapter of MiAKA; a sweetheart/auxiliary organization if you will? Sure. Now I won't go into how I feel about sweethearts and such because that is another blog entry that I could talk about for days. But answer me this. Since when did MiAKAs "probate", run around in pink and green, display the AKA shield, wear PEARLS etc? The last time I checked, Kappa Sweethearts (for instance) don't walk around trying to be dudes. Hmmm.
Point blank. Start you own fraternity or JOIN one. You are wack. I would love to hear from some actual MiAKAs about how they feel about all of this.
