Yes, I am a gadget whore and damn proud of it!
While my love for gadgets will never foreshadow my love for Louis, nice cars, cute clothes, and stilettos; gadgets do hold a special place in my heart. My friends have been pointing this out to me lately, but I think I have finally come to terms with my status. Gadgets just aren’t for men anymore, they can be functional as well as fashionable which is why I think more and more women are taking an interest in gadgets. In all honesty, I am quite concerned with the functioning capabilities of the product, but the style and look of the product definitely will make or break it for me.
The Sidekick 3
 |
Back in June when the sk3 was revealed, I bought it the day it went on sale. I love it! But when I discovered they were making a green (skee-wee), limited edition, Lifted Research Group sk3, I had to have it. Why you ask? Good question. The regular sk3 and the LRG sk3 both do the same things… but the LGR sk3 is green and stylish. So being the true gadget whore that I am, I sold my original sk3 on Ebay (also sold my sk2 on Ebay lol) and got the new LRG sk3. |
The
The Sanyo Katana Cell Phone
| Yes, I have a cell phone too. Another indication that I am a gadget whore… I might need to change that to gadget ho. Anyways, so you ask, why did I buy a cell phone that has the same features and functions as my sk3 (i.e. camera function, web browsing, etc)? Well why not? I can’t have a sub par cell phone and a sk3; that’s not bougie at all lol. So during my quest for a new cell phone, I was sold once I found out the Katana came in pink (skee-wee again). |

The Ipod.
| You will be shocked to know that I don’t have a pink Ipod. Believe me I tried. Problem is I have more than 3000 songs and that is way too much for an Ipod Nano. I used to have a 2nd generation Ipod that I quickly filled up and for a while I was simply deleting music off of it and just making due with its hard drive. But that all changed when they came out with the black, sleek, video Ipod. Not only would I be able to have more space for my music, it played videos and it was sexy! So yeah, I copped one of those as well earlier this year. |

So yeah, some say I am extra, which I probably am but I really do have a thing for gadgets and it only helps if they are stylish or sexy. So what’s my next purchase? Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo Wii—not sure, but I am feigning for a video game system!
